Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Former all-star pitcher AJ Burnett announced on social media Tuesday that he will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates' 2023 home opener.
Burnett spent three of the final four seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, including the 2013 season which saw the Pirates return to the postseason for the first time in over two decades.

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County are searching for a Woodland woman who was last seen over a week ago.
Police say 38-year-old Mandy Wisor was reportedly last seen on the morning of April 12th.
Troopers say Wisor is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair.

LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, PIKE CO. (WOLF) — A woman accused of throwing a small dog off a second-story deck multiple times is facing more charges.
Pennsylvania State Police say Betty Ann Davis, 49, of Bushkill, was first caught on surveillance footage twice throwing a 9-pound Pomsky off a second-story deck.
Davis initially said that the dog had broken its leg by "getting caught in the crate." However, it was found that the dog's injury—a broken leg with the bone protruding from the skin—was not consistent with how Davis alleged it occurred. Read More...
