CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WJLA) — A Maryland Parole and Probation agent was found dead inside the home of a sex offender Friday night while on duty, according to police.
On Friday, Montgomery County Police Department officers responded to the 2800 block of Terrace Drive around 5:45 p.m. to conduct a welfare check on a parole officer who had not reported back to work while he was on duty.
Officials said the parole officer, later identified as 33-year-old Davis Martinez, was conducting a welfare check on the resident of the home, 54-year-old Emanuel Edward Sewell, who is a registered sex offender. Read More...
Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police have released new details on the investigation into a woman whose body was found in a wooded area near Interstate 80 in Clearfield County earlier this month.
Police have identified the woman as Ivana Meandzija, of Utah.
