PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded veteran defenseman Chad Ruhwedel to the New York Rangers for a fourth round pick in 2027.
The 33-year-old signed with Pittsburgh following their Stanley Cup championship run in 2016.
In 7+ seasons with the Penguins, Ruhwedel played in over 300 total games, recording 11 goals and 47 total points.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — A news reporter that tried asking a Florida mayor about the homeless problem had his microphone shoved away and told to "back off." The reporter, who works for WPEC, questioned Mayor Keith James about the growing homeless problem in downtown West Palm Beach.

CAMBRIA CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to Warden Christian Smith, preliminary investigation has determined that last Friday's riot at the Cambria County Prison was due to a combination of three factors.
(1) The prison had been under a lockdown status for approximately one week due to COVID-19, which led tensions in that unit to be high.
(2) The inmates were not satisfied with the meals they were receiving. While still meeting all nutritional requirements, the regular menu had been changed to a more simplified menu for the breakfast and lunch meals. Read More...
