Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Tuesday was a "bittersweet” day for the staff and patrons of the Altoona Public Library as they hosted a birthday and goodbye celebration for two "furry members" of their staff.
For the past several years, the library has housed two ferrets.
Last week, one of the ferrets, “Draco,” was diagnosed with some significant health issues.
The staff made the difficult decision to retire her and her friend “Juniper” to the Wall-to-Wall Ferret Sanctuary in Hollidaysburg, where they will receive the care they need to live the rest of their lives comfortably. Read More...

(AP) — Authorities say an argument over a basketball foul that started inside a suburban Philadelphia fitness center ended when one man shot and killed the other outside in self-defense. Investigators say the shooter was justified in pulling a 9 mm Glock firearm from his backpack as he left the gym and killing 28-year-old Alan Womack. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI/KABB) — A singer of a world-renowned Mexican music group had anunpleasant experience after his concert in Texas.
Grupo Firme, a Latin Grammy award-winning band was in San Antonio for a concert Friday.
Afterward, singer Eduin Caz was at an after-party alongside his mother at a bar in downtown San Antonio.
The night went south after someone broke into his truck and stole his belongings.
