PHILADELPHIA (CNN Newsource) — City leaders are condemning one of the groups that took part in Philadelphia's traditional New Year's Day parade.
The reason: Two members of the group wore blackface during the Mummers Parade, which involves thousands of people dressed in costumes.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded right-hander Roansy Contreras to the Los Angeles Angels for cash considerations.
In three-plus seasons with Pittsburgh, Contreras appeared in 53 total games and has pitched over 182 career innings.
He has a career record of 9-12, with a 4.83 ERA.

WASHINGTON (7News) — Five teens were arrested for stealing several items from a CVS store in Navy Yard earlier in April, announced the Metropolitan Police Department.
