NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — The Massachusetts man reported missing while on a trip to Puerto Rico was found dead on Friday, Telemundo Puerto Rico reported.
The family of 28-year-old Alex DaLomba Tavares said he was reported missing Wednesday night. Tavares, of New Bedford, was in Puerto Rico with his girlfriend.

BROOKVILLE - More than 1,000 people were left without power for 11 hours Sunday in Jefferson County after an explosion at a substation, which sparked an electrical fire in the county courthouse.
Fire officials responded around 1:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of an explosion just off Madison Avenue in Brookville.
