POTEET, Texas (WOAI/KABB) — Police in Texas removed over 30 malnourished dogs Wednesday from a property just north of Poteet.
The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office hosted a news conference at the property where several dogs were visibly chained in place, living amongst trash.
Atascosa County Sheriff Henry Dominguez said that after a report of animal abuse at the property, officers investigated the property and obtained a warrant to seize the dogs. Read More...

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (KUTV) — The Utah County Attorney's Office on Tuesday announced formal charges against Michael Aaron Jayne, who is accused of using a semi-truck to kill Santaquin Police Sgt. Bill Hooser during a traffic stop on May 5.
The announcement was made at a press conference the day after Hooser's memorial service in Orem. However, prosecutors said they’re not going to answer any questions about the case until the trial is over. Read More...
